The Corporation has secured approximately 150,000 net acres surrounding Corridor Resources Inc., McCully Gas Field and recently discovered crude oil reserves in the Caledonia Oil Field, both of which are near Sussex, New Brunswick. We are on trend with discovered shale gas resources in Elgin, New Brunswick.
Recently, other oil and gas companies, Southwestern Energy Company, Corridor Resources Inc. and Contact Exploration Inc. have made significant investment commitments in New Brunswick, centered around shale gas. This activity is accelerating unconventional resource development in the province, Windsor Energy is reviewing the Frederick Brook shale prospectivety on our acreage.
